I Won’t Forget The Daily Fight I Won’t Regret
Steadfast in their mission to be a full-time touring hardcore band, Grave Maker want nothing more than to slug it out on the road. After spending six months writing songs and finding the right line-up, they left their west coast homes and haven’t looked back. With no outside help, Grave Maker used the remaining half year to play over 100 shows and record their debut CD, Bury Me At Sea (Smallman, 2008).
Bailey, bassist and member of Canadian heavy hitters Figure Four (Solid State Records), comments, “The chemistry of Grave Maker works well because we are a group of friends who share similar ideas about we want to do with our lives and with the band. We’re trying to escape the every day 9 to 5 jobs we’ve all worked so we can have the experiences that only ever seem to come from being on tour.”
Bury Me At Sea was produced by Roger Camero (The Warriors, No Motiv) and features guests such as Andrew Neufeld of Comeback Kid and Rick Jimenez of This is Hell and Soldiers. Grave Maker continue to tour in support of the release and have two massive tours of North America set up for August and the fall of 2009. They are aiming to return to the studio in late 2009 for a new release in 2010.
GRAVE MAKER may be a new band, but they waste no time forging ahead. Already Grave Maker has played with such notable bands as Ruiner, Shook Ones, Hatebreed, Death Before Dishonor and will be joining the entire Comeback Kid Canadian tour along side support bands Bane, Misery Signals and Shai Hulud.
