Managing the bands on Smallman Records was always a significant part of the daily business of running the record label. As our bands grew in stature so did the work. The result of this elevated stress level was an intense knife fight between all parties involved one cold January eve, and the subsequent establishment of Smallman Artist Management in 2002.
The role of Smallman Management is extremely diverse as we assist our bands in every aspect of their career to achieve the goals that they aspire to. Having a background in all aspects of the music industry (including having played in bands ourselves, acted as promoters, agents and a label, as well as having legal training), Smallman Artist Management has the ability to properly represent any band at any level.
